Candles were my favorite way to make our 🏡 home feel inviting. They were attractive to the eye and who could argue that aroma they gave off was amazing.
Then…I began to hear about the effects that candles can have on the human body. I had no clue that candles were made from nasty stuff like paraffin wax, a by-product of petroleum that can give off 😷toxic chemicals. Chemicals like toluene and benzene which are known to be cancer-causing agents. (Thanks Stanford University for that study) And did you know one hour of burning a scented candle can be the equivalent of smoking one cigarette.- 😟 yikes! It didn’t take long for me to toss out the candles.
But I was missing something, that smell of autumn spices, fresh baked cookies and the scent of Pumpkin Spice. In the winter of 2015 I found the solution to my emotional aroma fix – a diffuser.
Since the winter of 2015,our diffuser has become my favorite friend. Not only do the aromas in our diffuser remind me of days of baking cookies with mom, diffusing has perks for our physical wellness as well.
In a nutshell Diffusing helps:
