Break out of the Quarantine Chaos!

Lately, life has been topsy turvy for you and I.   How can we put normal back into this life of self-quarantine and social seclusion chaos?  Let’s approach a few challenges you may be facing with some simple solutions.

  1. Challenge: My  school-age kids walk into my office while I’m working.  

will return clockSimple solution: Purchase  a will return at this time’ clock.  

Once your break time is over reset the clock for the next break time.   My suggestion is you discuss your work needs, what that means to your family and  then pre-determine break times specific to your family.

2) Challenge: My former active life has turned into the life o of a couch potato.  

Simple solution 1: Start your day with an active mindset. Get up 30 minutes earlier than the rest of the household.  Find a quiet space and put on one of these FREE Videos.

Simple solution 2: Get moving during your break time.  Throw a frisbee, walk the dog, or have some fun and hula hoop.

3) Challenge: I can’t find the fresh fruits and veggies I’m used to eating.  

Simple solution 1:  Switch to frozen veggies and fruits. Often frozen may offer a higher nutritional value.  

Simple solution 2: Before your fresh veggies spoil blanch and freeze them to have later.

5) Challenge:  I can’t get my daily latte 🙂   

adult-attractive-background-beautiful-544117Simple solution: Bialetti Express Moka pot plus a kitchen whisk make the perfect home latte.  Select your favorite coffee blend. Follow directions on using your Moka pot. Place 6 oz of milk in a cup.  Microwave milk for 1 min 35 sec.  Whip the warm milk by placing the whisk in two hands and vigorously rotating it back and forth in the milk.   Once the milk is frothy, pour your Moka brewed coffee into the cup.  Add a sprinkle of cinnamon or chocolate powder on top and you have it – the perfect home latte.
